On 29 March 2026, Disneyland Paris’s second park began welcoming visitors as Disney Adventure World. The change from Walt Disney Studios coincided with the opening of World of Frozen and new experiences. This article, reviewed on 17 October 2026, explains that milestone: the opening happened in March, not on the review date.

What was added

The opening announcement confirms public access to World of Frozen, the Frozen Ever After attraction and Raiponce Tangled Spin. It also places Adventure Way and the Adventure Bay lake among the new spaces in the transformation. It announced the premiere of Disney Cascade of Lights for that evening.

The announcement specified that the new dining locations would open gradually. The inauguration date therefore does not establish that the entire announced offering was available on day one, nor does it guarantee operation for any later visit.

Understanding the name change

Disney Adventure World is the transformation of the existing second park. If you use older guides to plan a trip, you may find references to Walt Disney Studios. Disney’s own corporate documentation notes that both names may continue to appear while its pages are updated.

In practice, check maps and locations against current information. A guide written before the change may still help identify an attraction, but its description of routes and facilities needs checking.

What to check before travelling

Use the official map and programme for your date to decide what to visit. Do not infer wait times, crowd levels or the need for extra days from the opening alone. Those questions require different information. If the new experiences are a priority, add them to your shortlist and leave room to rearrange the day around actual availability.
